Our intial response to the doctor's findings that night was "Why?".  Not why, God, is this happening to us, but just why is this happening.  What did I do?  What did I not do?  We had never known anyone personally that had experienced stillbirth.  After the doctor pronounced Elijah's death that night, she began to tell us that most of the time, no concluding fault is determined, even after doing an autopsy.  As soon as we arrived home from the hospital, I began searching for answers to this question.
